Leena Ceccolini

Leena Ceccolini, a London based artist, was born and raised in Harjavalta, Satakunta in South West Finland. She creates sculptural and functional ceramics characterised by simple forms and bold surfaces. Drawing from her printmaking background she often incorporates mono-printing techniques using coloured clays and minerals to achieve textured surfaces and subtle tonal variations.

Her practice seeks to elevate the medium of stone ware, a simple vase becomes a unique work, a stylized Polar Bear exudes its own character.
