"I have been working quite a lot with prints and editions, with colour separation and so on, for many years.
I turned that into methods when i am making my original works as well.
In Winter Garden, for example, its oil paint, actually its printing paint, oil printing paint, which is printed by hand. There is no fancy machinery, it's just printed by hand with a little plastic sheet, directly onto an un-primed canvas. So the paint blurs in a way."
